Father’s Day is almost here. For me it’s become synonymous with mid-day gatherings, some tasty BBQ and quality family time. We are on a slow cooker roll, and a chili bender too.  If you’ve got a good thing going in the kitchen, why stop it?  I know it sounds obvious but making simple tweaks to a “kid-approved” recipe will probably create another new dish that’ll pass the test with your most discerning underage critics. Hosting a Super Bowl viewing party should be easy. They’re unpretentious, casual parties where you can serve a bevy of not so healthy appetizers--from Buffalo wings to cheese balls--relatively guilt-free.
