Kale and Green Bean Salad
Our new veggie discovery this year was KALE! It took about 5 tries and now both of my kids love kale. Of course, the first time I served it to them was as a chip, baked in the oven with a little bit of olive oil, sea salt and parmesan cheese. Now that they’re convinced they like kale, I feel like I’ve got full reign to try more dishes on them. Patriotic Strawberries
Independence day is only 2 days away but we’ve been celebrating all weekend long. In fact, in our beach town, the big fireworks show was Saturday evening, June 30th? We’re fine taking every opportunity possible to get festive and go red, white, and blue. Lucky for us, I had a ton of freshly-picked strawberries from the local farmer’s market.
