October is always a tough month for me. Not only is it my mom's birthday month but, it was also the month she died.  In two weeks, it'll be six years since her death. How coincidental that National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is also October. Today is Judy’s Birthday

Today would have been Judy's (mom's) 71st birthday. Five years ago this month, she passed away from Metastatic Breast Cancer. How ironic that not only is October her birthday month and the month she died but, it's also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast Cancer Awareness

I am taking a break from the normal recipe post.   I couldn't let this symbolic month  (Breast Cancer Awareness, Mom's intended 70th birthday, 4th Anniversary of Mom's death) tick away without talking about breast cancer.
