We are on a slow cooker roll, and a chili bender too.  If you’ve got a good thing going in the kitchen, why stop? I know it sounds obvious but making simple tweaks to a “kid-approved” recipe will probably create another new dish that will pass the test with your most discerning underage critics.   A recipe that has “easy” and “slow cooker” in its title should rise to the top of your list. Especially during the winter months when the wind chill is enough to make you crave any meal that requires basting or simmering all day long. Slow Cooked Black Bean Beef Chili

I might sound like a broken record but I don’t care: Slow cooked meals are so easy and stress free.  My crock pot is the best investment I’ve made for my kitchen since I started my culinary journey (and you can purchase yours here)!!
