Friday-Frenzy–Hurricane Hurricane Hurricane

  Everyone's bracing for Hurricane Irene.  I went to the grocery store to stock up like everyone else on the Eastern Seaboard.  Boy, was that stupid.  At the deli counter, I pulled ticket number 69 and they were only at number 19. My Summer of Sweet ‘N Low

We’re in the last lazy, hazy days of August.  The kids are out of camp with no real schedule. The new school year looms upon us and I’m reflecting on summer 2011.  Without a doubt, my summers always feel like a total blur.  It seems like just yesterday I was checking off the items on my daughter’s packing list for her first journey to sleep away camp.  Now, I’m racing through stores, trying to get some back-to-school clothes for the kids while Halloween costumes adorn the walls. When It’s Ok To Be Crabby

I Love You...A Bushel (of crabs) and a peck.... A Marylander's rendition of "Bushel and a Peck" from Guys and Dolls Growing up not far from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, summertime meant CRABS!  Lump crab.
