Sour Cream Bavarian: A Delicious Fat Free Dessert

Have you ever heard of a Sour Cream Bavarian?  No idea?  I found this recipe of Mom's stuffed in between the appetizer and dinner tabs in one of her crude recipe binders. I automatically assumed it was a dip of some sort given that the main ingredient is sour cream. Blueberry Brunch Cake

  Ah, Mom's Blueberry Brunch Cake! That smell.  That pungent smell of blueberries baking in the oven still transport me back to any given Sunday when my family would gather together for brunch after a long morning at Sunday school.  And, to think that I couldn't find that  recipe in Mom's vast handwritten recipe collection.  So many Sunday brunch memories are woven throughout that cake; they're as integral as its key ingredients. If you peruse any list of food trends from 2011, kale usually tops them all.  Once a cute plate garnish, now it's a superfood and all the rage. Why? Well probably because it is one of the healthiest vegetables around, containing more nutritional value for fewer calories than almost any other food.  It's also been linked to have anti-inflammatory health benefits, cancer prevention benefits and plays a lead role in detoxification, among others.
