With Halloween approaching, my apartment is filling up with a plethora of unopened bags of candy.  I've made a vow to myself and kids that we wouldn't dip into our sweet stash before October 31st.  I'm also on a quest to keep experimenting; I'm making homemade versions of otherwise not so healthy store bought goods. Going Natural with Homemade Nutella

Last Spring we took a family trip to Paris.  Besides falling in love with the splendor and beauty that often defines the city of lights, my daughter also fell in love with Nutella.  Wherever we went, she’d seek out a creperie or a crepe cart on the street to order up a hot crepe, overflowing with Nutella – sometimes bananas and strawberries were mixed in too. Empower Your Finicky Eater {Chicken Fajitas}

I was definitely a stubborn, picky eater growing up.  Even though Mom's kitchen was always full of life with intoxicating smells and a carousel of colorful foods, I usually always defaulted to the generic pasta-with-butter-or-marinara and select meats (namely grilled chicken and hamburgers or cheeseburgers).
